Pananjakman – Low Line Kicking

Pananjakman is orientated around low line kicking, as high kicks can be easily picked off by a blade as well as exposing the vital targets such as the groin and femoral arteries.

High kicks can also compromise the individual’s balance and increase the chances of their legs being grabbed. Some of the various low line kicks used are shin kicks, heel hook kicks, kneeing, groin kicks, stomp kicks, toe-poke kicks and low line round kicks.

Kicks to the head are executed when the head is under control, using foot sectoring, foot trapping, unbalancing and joint breaking techniques.
